Again, I was watching my Sengoku period Taiga drama, Tenchijin, and the infamous Akechi had another tea party.

Here you can see Akechi making tea and Tokugawa as first guest, accompanied by his retainer. The seeds of the Honnou-ji incident are being planted in their discussion. The room is laid with tatami mats whose edge is patterned with a white crest, and they both are sitting seiza. Akechi wears a purple fukusa on his right side. He seems to be using a Chinese bronze kaigu set on black lacquered nagaita. The chaki is brown lacquered in the kinrin-ji shape and the chashaku is ivory.
