Potato Bean Paste

While the bread was rising, I made a disruption.
This is maybe better for the body than normal bean paste, I think.

  • Satsuma Sweet Potato: 380g (about 7 cm round, 20 cm long)
  • Sugar: 40g
  • Milk: about 4 Tablespoons

How to Make it

  • Step 1: Peel the skin of the sweet potato and chop it into chunks like a carrot so you can put it in water.
  • Step 2: Immerse the potato in water in a pot and turn on the heat. Over medium heat, (boil it) until about a skewer easily passes through it. Throw out the hot water and add the sugar.
  • Step 3: Mash the potato with a rolling pin. Finally, you can make it good by finishing it by adding the milk. It is good to finish by chilling or freezing it because it is a little soft freshly made.

Memo: Using it as a filling for bread, wrap it up in a spring roll skin. A pretty simple sweet, please alter it to your own taste.
