This pattern is done from woven Coptic plain cloth (tsudzure-ori) from the Ptolemaic Dynasty period from the 4th to 1st century BC in Egypt. In each section of the lattice is an ancient greek symbol of congratulations: a pattern of large chalices with flowers at their peak and bay laurel with apparently tree leaves encircling.
